Evolve+ is a way for a customer to access EV cars and the EV lifestyle without the commitment of a long-term lease or vehicle purchase. It is also a great option when you only need a vehicle for a few months or less than a year.
Hyundai Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) including the all-electric KONA Electric, the IONIQ 5, and the IONIQ 6 vehicles are available in the Evolve+ program.

As an Evolve+ subscriber, your 28-day monthly payment includes maintenance, insurance, and roadside assistance.
As an Evolve+ lessee*, your 6- or 12-month term includes scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance. *Evolve+ leases are currently available only in California. Lease customers provide their own insurance.
Bluelink® is not included in Evolve+ subscribed vehicles. In case of an accident, the vehicle will not assist in an emergency. Complimentary Bluelink® is available for Evolve+ Lease customers.
For Evolve+ subscribers, the monthly payment does not include free charging. You will be responsible for charging the vehicle during the subscription.
Evolve+ Lease customers driving a 2024 IONIQ 5, 2024 IONIQ 6, or 2025 IONIQ 6 are provided complimentary charging through Electrified America for the term of the lease.
You can slow-charge the vehicle using a Level 1 charging cable accessory by connecting it to a standard household outlet.
If you have access to a 220/240V Level 2 home charger, charging times will be significantly faster.
Level 3 DC ultra-fast public charging stations provide even faster charging, though charging speeds will vary.

The application process includes a credit check to determine eligibility. For Evolve+ subscription, your FICO Auto 8 credit score must be 650 or greater to qualify. The credit check will not affect your score.

On the Evolve+ subscription. the only payment required is your initial subscription payment and a non-refundable activation fee. On the Evolve+ lease, the first month's lease payment will be due at signing.
The application process will take approximately 5 minutes and can be done from your mobile device through the Evolve+ app. You will need your driver's license and your credit card to complete your application. Once completed, it may take up to 2 business days to validate your driver's license and eligibility, but in most cases it is completed within minutes. When your application is approved, you will receive a notification from Evolve+.

No. Our service does not allow for any on-demand delivery services, ride-hailing, carsharing or any other sharing services and all are strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy will result in an immediate termination of your subscription or lease, expulsion from the program, payment of fees, excess wear, mileage, and the return of your vehicle.
For the Evolve+ subscription, you can select a vehicle, schedule your pickup, and pay for your subscription, all through the mobile app. For the Evolve+ lease, you apply, select a vehicle, and schedule your pickup, all through the mobile app. You will be required to complete certain documentation at the dealership for the Evolve+ lease.
All Evolve+ subscription vehicles come with a monthly subscription (28-day terms). You can renew as frequently as you would like, pending vehicle condition and eligibility.
For Evolve+ subscription: The 28-day monthly term includes 1,000 miles. If you exceed 1,000 miles in 28 days, your account will be automatically charged at $20.00 per increment of 100 miles until you reach 1,500 miles. Thereafter, every mile over 1,500 will be charged at a rate of $1.00 per mile. However, if you use less than your allotted 1,000 miles in 28 days, your unused miles will automatically roll over if you renew your subscription.
For Evolve+ lease: The 6-month or 12-month lease includes 1,000 miles per month. If you exceed 6,000 miles or 12,000 miles based on the term, you will be charged $0.20 per mile in excess of the allowed miles.
If you run out of battery, the Hyundai roadside assistance program can tow the vehicle to the nearest charging station or Hyundai dealer for charging. Call Hyundai Roadside Assistance service at 800-243-7766 to get help if your battery is empty. You can also 'click' to call roadside from the app when you are in an active Evolve+ subscription.
Once approved, you may add an additional driver. Additional drivers will receive a link to become approved. Additional drivers must be a spouse or domestic partner of the primary driver and must meet the program's eligibility requirements.
Allowing someone to drive the vehicle who is not the registered driver and/or subscriber of the subscription service will automatically disqualify you from our program and makes you personally liable for anything that happens to the vehicle.
To renew your subscription, tap the Renew button on the "My Current Drive" screen. From there, you will be able to select a subscription term, view pricing, and pay. The renew button will appear when you are within 7 days of your current subscription's end date. You will also receive a communication from the Evolve+ app reminding you to renew or schedule your return.
If you opt not to renew your subscription, click the appropriate button in the app. If you choose to return your vehicle you will be prompted to schedule your return.
Leased vehicles must be returned to the lessor on or before the maturity date. Lease vehicles are subject to a vehicle inspection and the customer may be responsible for excess mileage and excess wear and use. Contact your leasing Dealership to schedule a return date.
Evolve+ subscribers can inquire with the dealer to determine if dealer is willing to sell the vehicle.
Evolve+ lease vehicles are not available for purchase by the lessee. The vehicle must be returned to the lessor.
You are not currently able to schedule a swap for another vehicle.

When you return the leased vehicle, please ensure all items that came with the vehicle, including all keys, are also returned. Also, please ensure that you receive a return receipt. An inspection will be conducted after the vehicle has been returned and processed to determine any excess mileage and excess wear and use charges.
During the subscription vehicle inspection, a Evolve+ representative will check the cleanliness of the vehicle and will note any interior or exterior damage. Vehicle inspections help Evolve+ keep vehicles in top shape for you and other subscribers.
If you experience a vehicle breakdown, call Hyundai roadside assistance service at 800-243-7766. When it is safe to do so, please call your local Evolve+ dealer customer service line (view the contact number in-app) so they can arrange to get you another vehicle. Calls made to customer service after regular business hours will be responded to at the beginning of the next business day.
Maintenance includes periodic vehicle checks of key systems and components per the manufacturer's recommended schedule.
Evolve+ subscription customers do not need to keep track of your vehicle's maintenance schedule since Evolve+ does that for you. If your vehicle is due for maintenance, Evolve+ will contact you to arrange a service appointment. If your maintenance reminder light turns on and Evolve+ has not contacted you to make arrangements for a service appointment, you may contact your dealer to set up a complimentary service appointment.
Evolve+ lease customers will be responsible for tracking maintenance schedule according to the manufacturer's schedule and making arrangements with the Dealership for a service appointment.
Maintenance or service deemed to be necessary due to negligent use will be the financial responsibility of the subscriber as per our terms of the user agreement.
The Evolve+ insurance covers you when you are driving the vehicle for personal use. The coverage provided includes liability for bodily injury and property damage with a combined single limit of $300,000 ($60,000 in NY), uninsured / underinsured motorist coverage with a $50,000 per person and $100,000 per accident limit, and comprehensive and collision coverage with a $1,000 deductible per accident.
Our insurance policy does not provide coverage if you drive the car for any commercial reason including but not limited to delivery, rideshare, and/or independent taxi or delivery service. You will be financially responsible for any claims that are caused while driving the vehicle in this way.
Our roadside assistance service provides breakdown help, including towing, unlocking the vehicle, and any other service needed when an incident or breakdown occurs. If you need roadside assistance, please call 800-243-7766 or go to the Account feature and tap the Roadside Assistance button to be connected with a customer care agent. Please know that response times vary, depending on your location and time of day.
Evolve+ subscribed vehicles will be billed for any e-tickets or e-toll payments you incur. Once Evolve+ receives the bill, your account will be charged, and you will be notified of the charges via email.
If you receive any physical tickets, citations, or toll charges tied to the vehicle, you are responsible for contacting your local Evolve+ dealer to make payments.
In the event we are unable to collect payment for these fees, your Evolve+ participation may be suspended until payment is received.
Evolve+ lease customers must register the vehicles with the proper toll authority and pay all tolls. Any physical tickets, citations, or toll charges tied to the vehicle are the responsibility of the lessee. Any tickets, citations, etc. received by the lessor will automatically be paid and billed to you.
